Sonia calls on Vijayabhaskara Reddy

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 6. The Congress president, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, met
an ailing Mr. Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy, former Chief Minister
of Andhra Pradesh, at the Apollo Hospital here on Thursday,
enquired about his health and wished him a speedy recovery.
Ms. Gandhi arrived here from Delhi at 8.30 a.m. along with the
AICC general-secretary, Mr. Motilal Vora, and drove straight to
the hospital where the senior party leader has been undergoing
treatment for the past few days.
Ms. Gandhi spent some time in the special suite where Mr. Reddy
is undergoing treatment. Mr. Reddy's condition had been causing
anxiety in the last few days but this morning he was better and
talked to Ms. Gandhi on various issues.
