BJP executive to discuss strategy

SALEM, SEPT. 5 The Tamil Nadu BJP executive will meet at
Mayiladuthurai for three days from September 7 to 9 to decide on
the strategies for local bodies elections, Mr Master Mathan, MP
told presspersons here today.
The executive would go into details of the existing alliance and
the seat-sharing arrangement.
The NDA constituents at the national level- MDMK and PMK-would
either want to go it alone or form a third front. This aspects
would also be considered at the meeting.
In Tamil Nadu, the NDA leader was the former Chief Minister, Mr
M.Karunanidhi, hence, the BJP would hold talks with him before
finalising the strategy, said Mr.Mathan.
Meanwhile, the party embarked on identifying winnable seats right
from the panchayat union to the Corporation.
