I am a victim of TV, says Fernandes
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 5. ``I don't see television. I don't have one.
But, I know its influence because I am a victim,'' the NDA
convener, Mr. George Fernandes, said today.
Mr. Fernandes, who resigned from the Government in the wake of
the Tehelka expose, was apparently referring to the video footage
on the fictitious defence deal.
He made the remark while speaking at a seminar on ``Employment
generation - burning issues'' organised by the Swadeshi Jagran
Manch.
Later talking to presspersons, he brushed aside reports of
tension within the NDA in the wake of the reshuffle in the Union
Council of Ministers and changes in portfolios held by some key
allies. ``There is no tension,'' he said.
He expressed confidence that the Vajpayee Government would
complete its remaining term of three years.
