'No report sought from Governor'

NEW DELHI, AUG. 17. The Tamil Nadu Government, which has ordered a judicial probe into the violence during a recent DMK rally in Chennai, has sent a report on it to the Centre, a Home Ministry spokesman said tonight.

The spokesman, however, said that the Centre had not sought any report from the Governor. ``The Tamil Nadu Government has sent the report on its own,'' he said. Details of the report were not immediately available.
