TNHB allotment mela from today

CHENNAI, AUG. 15. The Tamil Nadu Housing Board Special Division IV has organised an allotment mela from August 16 to September 15 for commercial, institutional, industrial, religious and public purpose sites in Ambattur phase I, II, III, Chitlapakkam, Thirukatchur, Madhavaram, K.K.Nagar and Kakkalur.

The mela is part of the Housing Board's Independence Day offer, a TNHB press release said. Applicants can take possession of their plots on payment of 25 per cent of the total cost as deposit. The balance can be paid in monthly instalments.

Higher and middle income group (HIG/MIG) residential plots at Ambattur Phase III and MIG plots at Madhavaram are available for allotment through sealed offer daily at 3 p.m. during the mela, the statement added.

MIG plots at Kakkalur scheme and HIG flats at Maduravoyal are available for allotment on first-come-first-served basis.

NRIs and others not residing in Chennai can apply through their representatives. Applications will be issued on all working days from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Details are available on www.placenspace.com.
