Leander, Mahesh duo to face Jensen brothers
NEW DELHI, AUG. 6. Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have been
seeded sixth and drawn to meet wild card entrants, the Jensen
brothers, Luke and Murphy of the U.S., in the first round of the
$2.45 million Masters Series tennis event in Cincinnati.
Should the Indian pair, which lost in the first round last week
in Montreal, pull through, it will run into another formidable
pair in the pre-quarterfinals.
Justin Gimelstob and Alex O'Brien of the U.S. will meet Sebastien
Lareau of Canada and Sjeng Schalken of the Netherlands, to fix a
possible second round clash with the Indian duo.
Wild card entrants, Boris Becker of Germany and Goran Ivanisevic
of Croatia have been pitted against the top-seeded Jonas Bjorkman
of Sweden and Todd Woodbridge of Australia in the first round.
