Jayalalithaa calls on Joshi, Moopanar

CHENNAI, AUG. 6. The Chief Minister, Ms. Jayalalithaa, today called on the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, and the TMC president, Mr. G. K. Moopanar, at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College. She enquired about their health and wished them speedy recovery. The DMK president, Mr. M. Karunanidhi, telephonically enquired about Dr. Joshi's health.

Dr. Joshi was admitted to the hospital last night after he drank a cup of coloured water at a function at Enathur, Kancheepuram.Later today, he was discharged and he took an evening flight to New Delhi.
