New NASSCOM chief named

NEW DELHI, AUG. 5. The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) executive council has approved the name of former Discovery India chief, Mr. Kiran Karnik, as its new president.

``Mr. Karnik's name was unanimously approved by the council when it met in Bangalore on Saturday,'' Mr. Harish Mehta, past president of NASSCOM, told PTI.
