New Company Affairs Secretary takes over

NEW DELHI, JULY 30. Mr. Vinod Kumar Dhall, an IAS officer of the
1966 batch, today took over as Secretary, Department of Company
Affairs, Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs.
He succeeds Mr. V. Govindarajan, who was transferred as
Secretary, Industrial, Chairman, Foreign Investment Promotion
Board in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Earlier, Mr. Dhall was Additional Chief Secretary (Finance),
Madhya Pradesh. Before that he was Special Secretary (Insurance),
Department of Economic Affairs in the Finance Ministry.
He was Resident Director, Indian Investment Centre; Director,
Banking Division, besides holding a tenure posting in UNIDO in
the field of industrial development and reforms, private sector
development and investment promotion.
