Sport \| Previous \| Next Man arrested for threatening Cronje DURBAN, JULY 25. Police in the South African city of Bloemfontein have arrested a 61-year-old pensioner for allegedly threatening former skipper Hansie Cronje. The man was arrested at his home hours after Cronje held a press conference in the city to rebuff allegations that he had held 19 bank accounts where he concealed 10.5 million rand ($1.3 million). Cronje's mother had received a call on Monday from an unknown man ``who threatened that if her son comes to Bloemfontein, he would be killed,'' police said. - PTI Send this article to Friends by E-Mail
