Musharraf honoured

Sir, - I disagree with Mr. P. K. Vasudeva's observation about the Air Chief Marshal, Mr. A. Y. Tipnis, not saluting Gen. Pervez Musharraf on July 14. Gen. Musharraf inspected the `Guard of Honour' which is a proof of our Air Chief giving the Pakistan President due respect. The Air Chief is not a raw recruit who should be taught etiquette.

D. K. Murthy,

Villupuram
