IMPHAL, JULY 10 Women organised sit-in-protests at many places in the four valley districts of Manipur today demanding that the Centre withdraw the ceasefire from the State instead of giving assurances to review it.

Meanwhile, the newly-formed All Political Parties Forum of Manipur has welcomed the Prime Minister's assurance given to an all-party meeting to review the ceasefire extension with the (NSCN-IM).
