Narrow escape for Musharraf

ISLAMABAD, JULY 10. The Pakistan President, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, had a narrow escape when a private car crashed into his convoy injuring one of his bodyguards and the driver of an escort vehicle.

The car smashed into the escort vehicle on Monday near the entrance gate of Islamabad international airport, a media report here quoted police as saying. Gen. Musharraf escaped unhurt.
