JKLF chief arrested
By Our Special correspondent
ISLAMABAD, JULY 3. The police in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)
have detained the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF)
leader, Mr. Amanullah Khan, for violating an order banning him
from entering a city there.
Mr. Khan was taken into custody in Kotli city where he had gone
to meet party leaders and address a public rally in protest
against the manner in which his party candidates were barred from
contesting the elections to the PoK Assembly scheduled on July 5.
