Valarmathi Jebaraj sworn in

CHENNAI, JUNE 29. Ms. Valarmathi Jebaraj was sworn in Minister by the Governor, Ms. Fathima Beevi, at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Ms. Jebaraj took the oath in the name of God. The function was attended by the Chief Minister, Ms. Jayalalithaa, and her Cabinet colleagues. Ms. Jebaraj replaces Mr. A. Venkatachalam as Minister for Backward Classes. He was relieved on Tuesday.
