Balayogi calls on PM

NEW DELHI, JUNE 27. The Lok Sabha Speaker, Mr. G.M.C. Balayogi,
called on the Prime Minister, Mr. A.B. Vajpayee, here today to
enquire about the progress of recovery after his knee surgery.
Mr. Balayogi wished the Prime Minister speedy recovery, on his
and on behalf of all MPs.
The two also discussed the details of the Presiding Officers
Conference to be held at Chandigarh from tomorrow.
The meet is scheduled to discuss topics of contemporary
relevance, the need to evolve a code of conduct for legislators
and harnessing information and communication technologies in the
legislatures and need for bringing about computer connectivity
among the libraries.
