Corpn. schools record 55 p.c. in SSLC exams

CHENNAI, JUNE 18. Chennai Corporation schools recorded 55 per
cent pass in the SSLC examinations this year.
The first three ranks among the Corporation school students went
to A.Maheshwari of Saidapet Girls' School (475 marks), Shobhana
of Nungambakkam Girls' School (462 marks) and A.Maimunnisa of
Rotler Street Girls' School (461), a press release said.
The total number of students from Corporation schools was 6835,
of which 3780 passed.
