CM's directive on nursing college

CHENNAI, JUNE 18. The Chief Minister, Ms. Jayalalithaa, has
instructed the Director of Medical Education to take steps to
accommodate the 40 students of Vel RS Medical College of Nursing,
Avadi, who were stranded following closure. The DME has also been
instructed to initiate disciplinary action against the management
for having admitted students without completing formalities for
getting recognition from the All India Nurses and Midwives
Council, New Delhi.
The students met the Chief Minister on Friday and presented a
petition.
