Commander discharged
RANCHI, JUNE 6. Brigadier Surendra Singh, the controversial
brigade commander, was today discharged from service on charges
of disclosing vital information and dereliction of duty during
the Kargil war.
He was found guilty of `failure of command' and `leaking of
secrets' in an enquiry.
