Course for hearing impaired in distance mode

HYDERABAD, JUNE 3. Parents of deaf and dumb children can now apply for the B.Spl.Education (distance mode) for the hearing impaired conducted by the M.P.Bhuj Open University, following relaxation of the eligibility criteria by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Mr. G.Satya Rao, honorary secretary and correspondent, College of Teacher Education, Andhra Mahila Sabha, and coordinator of the university's study centre, said in a press release that the minimum qualification was degree in each subject.

He said in a press release that the last date for receipt of applications for the course had been extended up to June 20. Candidates may contact Mr.Rao (tel 7098573) for details.

In another release, he said the Arts and Science College for Women, Andhra Mahila Sabha, Durgabai Deshmukh Vidyapeetam, O.U.Road, will be the examination centre for the entrance test of B.Spl Education course to be conducted by Osmania University. The test will be held on June 24 from 2 p.m. The hall-tickets are being despatched, the release stated.
