New Holland launches 42 hp range

CHENNAI, MAY 26. Following the success in the 50 hp and 70 hp
ranges, New Holland Tractors India has come out with 42 hp
tractor with unique features. According to Mr. T. L. Palani
Kumar, Managing Director of the company the new `Ford 3230 TC
Drive' had completely revolutionised tractor technology in the
country in the similar hp range and the unique features allowed
high flexibility to farmers to perform all types of agricultural
operations in any terrain.
The tractor was launched in Erode (Tamil Nadu) on May 25. With
this launch the company offers a complete range of tractors in
the 42 hp, 50hp and 70 hp.
New Holland Tractors has invested over Rs.250 crores in
establishing a world class manufacturing and assembly facility at
Greater Noida, Uttra Pradesh.
According to a company release the plant is the latest among the
several New Holland manufacturing plants around the world,
enabling an international standard of quality on a consistent
basis in tractors. The plant has an expandable capacity to
produce upto 35,000 tractors annually.
