Move forward
Sir - Mr. K. K. Katyal has rightly stressed the need for using
the Pakistani Chief Executive, Gen. Musharraf's visit
constructively (May 25). India and Pakistan have a common past
and heritage. We have to move ahead to face the common challenges
- poverty, illiteracy, industrial growth, agricultural production
and unemployment.
Let the leaders of both the countries spend less on defence and
pave the way for future prosperity, so that the children of today
would have a bright future and live as good citizens and
contribute to the welfare of the world by enriching their own
nations.
S.A. Srinivasa Sarma,
