Alternative vision
Sir, - This has reference to Dr. Raja Mohan's column, US-Russia
deal on missile defences (May 18). The NMD is taking us towards a
monolithic globalspeak and totalitarian geostrategic
architectonics. Who knows if all this is in tune with the
sustainability of the planet and its organic balance. Someone has
to put forth an alternative world order vision, an alternative
paradigm of reality. While one can easily see the logic of
India's support of the NMD, our non-aligned, Panchasheel legacies
of Gandhi-Nehru inheritance enjoins upon us to put forward an
alternative geostrategic proposal.
Asiananda,
New Delhi
