Expelled RJD MP surrenders

SITAMARHI (BIHAR), MAY 15. The expelled RJD MP, Mr. Anwarul Haq, was remanded to judicial custody today after his surrender before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate here in connection with a case charging him with forcibly releasing an accused from police custody.

Haq was evading arrest for over four months after issuance of a non-bailable arrest warrant by the court.

He has been charged with forcibly securing release of accused Mahesh Yadav from police custody in Sitamarhi.
