JET AIRWAYS, has launched another pioneering initiative - `sky bazaar'.

Christened as ``Jet Mall'', the inflight mail order shopping programme, introduced from May 15, would enable passengers to browse through a specially-designed mail order catalogue featuring high quality products at attractive prices. They have to complete an order form and hand it over to the cabin crew. Ordered products would be home delivered to customers within a time frame of two to four weeks.

The Mall catalogue features products such as limited edition of M.F. Hussain prints, international brands of Lalique, Lladro, Mont Blanc, and educational toys. If customers are not satisfied, they can exchange products or seek a refund. As a special inaugural offer for its frequent fliers, Jet Privilege members will be able to earn miles on every order placed before June 30, 2001.

``Since inception, the airline has always been a trendsetter. We are proud to have launched another first on our Eighth anniversary. The new sky shoppe would be another value added service to the travellers'', explained the CEO of Jet Airways, Mr. Steve Forte.

The order forms will be available in the catalogue placed in the seat pockets or can be downloaded from the website. Special Jet Mall customer service centres have been established at Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad to manage specific travellers queries.

The sky mall has been launched in partnership with Infovision, specialising in merchandising, processing and fulfillment services. Infovision will source merchandise, manage catalogue production, deliver products to customers and handle travellers queries at their call centres on behalf of the airline.
