By Our Staff Reporter

CHENNAI, MAY 14. Two persons died of sun stroke in the city on Sunday.

Police identified the victims as Dilli Babu (25) of Ambattur and Thangabashyam (58) of Chintadripet.

According to police, Dilli Babu went to Annai Indira Nagar in Peerkangkaranai. He suddenly fainted, apparently unable to bear the heat, and died.

In the other incident, Thangabashyam went to Pazhavanthangal to visit his sister's house. The excessive heat forced him to sit down near a shop where he died of exhaustion, police said.
