AIR to broadcast poll result

PONDICHERRY, MAY 12. Pondicherry station of the AIR will present Radio Bridge programmes tomorrow on poll results from 11.05 a.m. to 12 noon. It will be a live programme.

A press release from the Assistant Station Director of AIR today said the bridge programmes would also be broadcast from 3.10 p.m. to 4 p.m. It would be broadcast again at 4.15 p.m. and go on till 5 p.m., and from 9.30 to 10.30 p.m. This programme would originate from the AIR, New Delhi, connecting the regional news units in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam, West Bengal and Pondicherry.

Mr. V. A. Vasudevaraju, Mr. V. Narayanaswamy and Mr. S. Murugaboopathy (all retired officers of Pondicherry administration) would participate in the programmes from the studios of Pondicherry AIR station.

The local station of the AIR had made arrangements through special bulletins in Tamil to announce the latest information on the poll results tomorrow at 9 a.m., 10.30 a.m., 12.05 p.m., 1.30 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 4.10 p.m., 6.10 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 10.35 p.m.
