Woman killed in accident

CHENNAI, MAY 11. A 25-year-old woman was fatally knocked down
from her two-wheeler by a lorry on Friday.
Police identified the victim as Vasantha of Ekkaduthangal. She
was heading towards Guindy on Inner Ring Road when the lorry hit
her vehicle from behind near the KK Nagar Telephone Exchange.
The victim was rushed to a private nursing home nearby where she
was declared dead on arrival. Her body was removed to the
Government Royapettah Hospital.
The lorry driver, Navaneedhan (28), has been arrested.
