Drama awards

KARTIK FINE Arts has announced the 12th Kodai Nataka Vizha awards for this year. Honourable Justice N. V. Balasubramaniam will distribute the awards on June 1 at the R. R. Sabha Hall.

The winners are: Guruprasad for Best Music (``Uravugal Dot Com''); Baby Rekha, Best Child Artiste (``Gowri Manohari''); K. Vivek Shanker (``Uravugal Dot Com'') and N. Kalyanjee (``Aardhanai Sei Manamey''), Best Story Writer; Antony Raj (``Kathaluku Kathalukku Jey'') and Mohana Sundari (``Pizhai Thiruththam''), Best Comedian; K. Vivek Shanker (``Uravugal Dot Com'') and N. Kalyanjee (``Aardhanai Sei Manamey''), Best Director; Rajalakshmi (``Uravugal'') and A. Meenakshi (``Pizhai Thiruththam''), Best Actress; K. Jagannathan (``Aardhanai Sei Manamey'') and Absar (``Uravugal Dot Com''), Best Actor and ``Aardhanai Sei Manamey'' by Kalalayam, Coimbatore and ``Uravugal Dot Com'' by Prayatna, Chennai, Best Drama.
