Pak. daily slams PTV
ISLAMABAD, MAY 7. A programme on State-run Pakistan Television,
featuring some Indian film songs, today came under criticism by
the media here which said it ``maligned'' the Pakistani music
industry. The most unusual but highly controversial aspect of the
programme, Dhun Hamari Tumahara Naam Huee', was the screening of
footages of Indian film songs that would have never been played
on PTV had our television managers given a wider thought, The
Nation said.
