MDMK releases third list

CHENNAI, APRIL 19. The MDMK released its third list of candidates
for 22 Assembly constituencies. It has also made changes in the
names of candidates in respect of three seats. With this, the
party has announced nominees for 196 constituencies and said
names for the remaining 17 will be released shortly.
The following is the list of candidates:
Purasawalkam - Thayagam Gurunathan; Harbour - E.P. Pandiyan;
Egmore - Manimaran; Taramangalam - Vaidyanathan;
Salem-1 - Sakthivel; Pennagaram - K. E. Sekhar; Jayamkondam -
Prof. K.N. Ramachandran; Ilayankudi - Malaikannan; Varahur -
Keeranur R. Palanimuthu; Dharapuram - Dr. Santhakumari; Sivaganga
- N. Jayaraman; Gummidipoondi - R. Balaji; Tiruvallur - R. Vasu;
Vellore - S. Rajasekaran; Sankarapuram - K. Natarajan;
Melmalayanur - A.K. Mani; Ullundurpet - Angamuthu; Sedapatti - N.
Selvaraghavan; Orathanad - Durai Balakrishnan; Tirvonam -
Ramachandran; Valangaiman - M. Thyagarajan; Villupuram - Babu
Govindaraj.
A party press release announced three changes in the candidates
already named. The new nominees are: Chepauk - Tamizhmaravan;
Chinnasalem - A. Vaidyalingam and Nanilam - G.S. Ravanan.
