Cash stolen from hotel room

CHENNAI, APRIL 6. Cash totalling about Rs. 15,000, 250 US dollars
and valuables were reported stolen from a hotel room on Anna
Salai in Teynampet where a Malaysian family was staying on
Thursday.
According to police, the culprits gained entry into the room when
the inmates had gone out for shopping. The family noticed the
burglary when they returned to the room.
Teynampet police are investigating.
