U.S. aircraft intercepted

BEIJING, APRIL 1. Two Chinese air force planes today intercepted and damaged a U.S. Navy maritime surveillance aircraft over South China Sea, forcing it to land at an airfield, media reports said.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has not commented so far on the incident.
