MUMBAI, MARCH 28. Cine actor-turned-politician, Sunil Dutt, who
had a narrow escape after a private aircraft crash-landed near
Nasik on Monday night, today underwent an operation for fractured
toe at Breach Candy hospital in south Mumbai.
``He is fine and resting at the moment,'' one of Dutt's
secretary, Arjun told PTI.
Meanwhile, a report from New Delhi said the President, Mr. K.R.
Narayanan, wished a speedy recovery to Mr. Dutt.
``I am relieved to hear of your providential escape when the
plane you were travelling in crash-landed near Nasik yesterday.
Concerned as I am to hear of your hospitalisation, I wish you and
your co-passengers speedy recovery to normal health,'' his
message said.
