UDF continues talks with social organisations
By Our Special Correspondent
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 19. The UDF convener, Mr. K.
Sankaranarayanan, who had been deputed by the UDF High Power
Committee to hold discussions with social organisations in the
run-up to the Assembly elections, continued with his task.
Mr. Sankaranarayanan spent the entire day today meeting leaders
of these organisations.
Some of these organisations, which had shown a LDF tilt in the
past, expressed their willingness to support the UDF in the
elections.
The UDF's decision to hold discussions with them was a clear
message that it would sympathetically consider their various
demands once returned to power.
