Mayor inaugurates gymnasia

CHENNAI, FEB. 25. Development works worth Rs. 37.05 lakhs were declared open in Kodambakkam (Zone 8) by the Chennai Mayor, Mr. M. K. Stalin today.

A new block at the Nesapakkam Corporation School at a cost of Rs. 23.73 lakhs and Rs. 3.74 lakhs building and a gymnasium at Mullai Nagar come under scheme works of the Corporation.

The Mayor also inaugurated gymnasia in Nallan Kuppam, Somasundaram ground, T.Nagar; 102nd street, 14 sector,in K.K.Nagar and at Dr.Kanu Nagar, Nesappakkam, constructed with the ward development fund of local councillors.

The Corporation Commissioner, Dr. J. Radhakrishnan, the T.Nagar MLA, Dr. A. Chellakumar, and councillors were present.
