AP Governor arrives in Chennai

CHENNAI, FEB. 25. The Andhra Pradesh Governor, Dr. C. Rangarajan, who has been asked to hold the additional charge of Tamil Nadu during the absence of Ms. M. Fathima Beevi, who is away on a Haj pilgrimage, arrived in the city on Sunday evening. He was received by Mr. Aladi Aruna and Mr. K. Sundaram, Ministers, at the airport.

Dr. Rangarajan will be sworn in as the acting Governor on Monday.
