By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI, FEB. 25. The first meeting of the NDA allies in Tamil Nadu led by the DMK to discuss the poll strategies for the coming Assembly elections, was ``very cordial and satisfactory'', the DMK president and Chief Minister, Mr. M. Karunanidhi, said after the confabulations.

Mr. Karunanidhi told reporters here that the seat- sharing among the NDA allies in the State would be finalised, after the election committee set up by the DMK met the partners individually on this issue.

To a query, Mr. Karunanidhi said adequate security cover had been given to the PMK leader, Dr. S. Ramadoss. However, neither the PMK quitting the NDA nor the TMC issue figured at today's meeting, he said.

While the other DMK representatives at today's meeting included its general secretary, Mr. K. Anbazhagan and Treasurer, Mr. Arcot Veeraswami, the leaders of other parties who participated were: Dr. Kirubanidhi and L. Ganesan, State BJP president and general secretary respectively, Mr. Vaiko (MDMK), Mr. Vazhapadi K. Ramamurthy (TRC), Mr. S. Thirunavukkarasu (MGR- ADMK), Mr. Rm. Veerappan (MGR-Kazhagam), Dr. K.
