Channamma Gowda undergoes surgery

BANGALORE, FEB. 23. Ms. Channamma Deve Gowda, wife of the former
Prime Minister, Mr. H.D.Deve Gowda, who had sustained 30 per cent
burns in an acid attack on Wednesday, was operated upon here this
afternoon.
All the dead skin from the entire right upper limb, left forearm
and right side of the chest were exercised and covered with skin
grafts taken from the left thigh and leg, according to Dr. R.A.
Parangusa Das, Medical Superintendent of Mallya Hospital.
