Gehlot's shawls to be auctioned for quake relief

JAIPUR, FEB. 21. More than 150 shawls presented to the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Mr. Ashok Gehlot, on various occasions would be auctioned at Jodhpur on February 25 for raising funds for helping Gujarat quake- victims.

These shawls would be displayed at the Jodhpur Medical College auditorium and thereafter auctioned in the presence of Mr. Gehlot, the programme convenors, Mr. Rajkumar Bhandari and Mr. Jawaharlal Bhandari, said here on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister would personally hand over the shawls to the highest bidders before receiving the sale proceeds, to be sent to Gujarat as aid for rehabilitation of the quake survivors.
