Keshubhai to seek support for rehabilitation
MUMBAI, FEB. 21. The Gujarat Chief Minister, Mr. Keshubhai Patel,
during his two-day visit to the city beginning today would be
meeting industrialists, businessmen and representatives of
various NGOs to seek support for the rehabilitation of earthquake
survivors.
Mr. Patel on his arrival would visit Reliance Industries project,
to inspect the quake-resistant houses prepared by the company,
the BJP sources said here.
In the night, he would be meeting his Maharashtra counterpart,
Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh. The Maharashtra Government has already
adopted quake-devastated Bhachau taluk for rehabilitation.
Mr. Patel would be interacting with diamond merchants, well-known
personalities of Gujarati and Kutchi society and activists of the
BJP and the RSS, sources added.
The Gujarat Chief Minister was also scheduled to address the
media tomorrow.
