Brajesh's niece denies charges
NEW DELHI, FEB.17. Ms.Vibha Mishra, niece of Mr. Brajesh Mishra,
Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, today denied that her
company Garuda Advertising had benefited to the tune of crores of
rupees from advertisements released by the Government.
Referring to reported claims by Jain TV that her company had got
Rs 10 crore, she said this was ``malicious disinformation''.
Garuda got INS (Indian Newspapers Society) accreditation only in
July 1997 and the full income from Government advertisements
during the last five years was less than Rs 8 lakhs, she added.
