Court allows film release
MUMBAI, FEB. 12. The decks were cleared today for the release of
the film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke with a special judge
appointing Mr. Santosh Singh Jain, film distributor, receiver to
realise the sale proceeds.
The Designated Judge, Mr. A. P. Bhangale, passed an order
attaching the film and appointing the court receiver to release
it all over the world.
The order was passed on a plea made by the film financier, Mr.
Bharat Shah, that the film's negatives be released and the
distributors allowed to exhibit the movie.
