Three of a family killed in mishap

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 1. Three members of a family, including
a two-year-old child, were killed and four others injured when
the car in which they were travelling rammed into the rear of a
parked lorry in front of the Attingal KSRTC bus stand in the wee
hours of Thursday.
Police identified the deceased as Suresh Babu (26), Biju (27)
and Anandu (2). The injured persons were identified as Santhosh
Kumar (driver), Sheena, Sindhu and Sasi. All of them were
reported to be in a serious condition.
Police said the accident occurred at 4 a.m.
Officials said the passengers in the car, all natives of
Alappuzha, were on their way to the Thiruvananthapuram airport to
see off a relative bound for the Gulf.
The bodies were kept at the Medical College Hospital for post-
mortem examination.
