Agassi ahead in Champions Race
PARIS, JAN. 31. Andre Agassi's convincing win in the Australian
Open has catapulted him to the top of the ATP Champions Race.
The triumph gave him the maximum of 200 points up for grabs for
the winners of Grand Slam events in the course of the year-long
race which was won last year by Brazil's Gustavo Kuerten.
The beaten finalist in Melbourne, France's Arnaud Clement, is in
second place with 146 points and compatriot Sebastian Grosjean
third with 106 points.
