AVSM for Comm. Franklin

CHENNAI, JAN. 31. Commodore PR Franklin VSM Naval Officer-in- charge (Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry) has been awarded the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal for distinguished service on Republic Day.

Mr. T. K. Rajendran, IPS, DIG of Police (Intelligence) Mr. K. Nandabalan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, NIB CID and Mr. M. V. Balasubramani, Inspector, Police Training College, Chennai, have been awarded the President's police medal for meritorious service.

Mr. S. Divianathan, Assistant DFO, Chennai North, has been awarded the President's Fire Service Medal for meritorious service.
