Taliban closes offices in Pak.

ISLAMABAD, JAN. 26. Afghanistan's Taliban today closed down its three offices in Pakistan, the private Afghan Islamic Press reported.

The AIP quoted the Taliban Ambassador in Islamabad, Mr. Abdul Salam Zaeef, as having said that the non-diplomatic offices in Peshawar, Quetta and Karachi have been closed in view of the sanctions imposed by the U.N. on January 19.
