Bangalore police team in city
By Our Staff Reporter
CHENNAI, JAN. 23. The police team probing into the murder of a
chartered accountant who was shot dead at point blank range in
Bangalore on Sunday night is camping in Chennai to check if the
assailant had any links here.
The victim, Mr. Dinesh was to have got married to a Chennai girl
on January 30.
Among the various angles being probed by the police, they are
verifying if the marriage had any links with the murder. The
victim had been engaged to the daughter of a jeweller in
Triplicane.
However, police said preliminary investigation had ruled out this
possibility and police strongly suspect a business motive to be
the cause of the murder.
