Naidu appeal to parties
By Our Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD, JAN. 23. The Telugu Desam, a key supporter of the NDA
Government at the Centre, has made it clear that it would not be
a party if the Vajpayee Government deviated from the national
agenda.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu said
at a party meeting here today that the country had better things
to do than indulge in a mandir-masjid controversy.
He appealed to the political parties not to complicate the issue,
but to wait and abide by the court decision.
