Police top brass shuffled

HYDERABAD, JAN. 12. The State Government has promoted 13 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) as Additional Superintendents of Police on Friday. In addition to the new postings for the promotees, the Government also issued transferring five more Additional SPs. The following are the names of officers and their new postings:

Mr. M. Ramakrishna, on promotion as Additional SP was retained as the Security Officer in the ECIL. Mr. S. Chandrasekhar Reddy, DSP Ramachandrapuram on promotion is posted as Additional SP (admn) Ongole in the existing vacancy. Mr. L. Kalidas Venkata Ranga Rao, DSP Jangaon, was posted as Additional SP Operations in Anantapur in the existing vacancy on promotion.

Mr. A.R. Srinivas, DSP Balanagar, on promotion is posted as Additional SP Operations in Visakhapatnam rural vice Mr. M. Nago Rao who is shifted to Srikakulam as Additional SP (Admn). Mr. J. Muralidhar, ACP, Saifabad is promoted and posted as Additional SP (admn) in Kakinada.

Mr. P. Venkata Ram Reddy, DSP Intelligence, on promotion is posted as Additional SP in A.P. Police Academy. Mr. P. Viswa Prasad, DSP Parkal, is promoted and retained as Additional SP Parkal. Mr. M. Ramesh, DSP Godavarikhani, on promotion was retained as Additional SP at the same place. Mr. S. Ranga Reddy DSP Mulugu was promoted and posted as Additional SP Pulivendula vice Mr. V.C. Sajjanar transferred. Mr. G.V.G. Ashok Kumar, DSP Anantapur, on promotion is retained in the same office. Mr. B. Balaiah, DSP AP Transco, on promotion was also retained.

Mr. G. Krishna Murthy, DSP, PTC Anantapur on promotion is posted as the principal of PTC Tirupati in the existing vacancy. Mr K. Kumar, Additional DCP Traffic, Hyderabad is transferred and posted to the Intelligence department. Mr. B. Malla Reddy, Additional SP Operations Mahaboobnagar is transferred as Additional SP Admn vice Mr. B. Janardhan Reddy who is asked to report to the DGP's office. The services of Mr. P.L. Raju, DCP- II, are shifted to the A.P. Genco.
